What is this item for ... ?

I was looking for a thread to just ask a question about an item, but I couldn't find one. I thought I could start one for anyone who has questions about a particular item, they could just post here ....

I found the Innothule Mushroom in the swamp, and I have no idea what it is for. Can someone help me out ? P99 Wiki has no info about it. EQTraders has 3 brewing recipes, but I believe they are post-Velious and don't apply to P99 [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Which was one of the beautiful things about classic eq. So much stuff out there, some random some not. Prior to extensive online compiled resources, there was a lot of blind trial and error and word of mouth that made the world seem much bigger.
