Quest Issue: Lendel Deeppockets

Rohane's Ultimate Rogue Epic Guide (http://tancidtherogue.com/ragebringer.html) speculates that a scripted conversation overheard between Lendel and another NPC is the lead-in to the rogue epic. You ask Lendel 'who is Stanos' and his reply text asks if you want to do a job. Saying "give me the job" then has him tell you to search for him in the Karanas (where you are meant to find Vilnius the Small, instead).

(These phrases currently work on Lendel Deeppockets on Green server, which would make them out of era)

According to Allakhazam comments in February 2002, saying "give me the job" to Lendel Deeppockets in Rivervale gave a positive faction hit to the Deeppockets. By April 2002, this was no longer the case.

Is anybody able to confirm that this positive faction hit existed in-timeline? The text appears to have been added in epic-weapon era and could have persisted until 2002, but I am not versed in Wayback-fu.

To raise deeppockets faction go to rogue guild leader and say "I want the job." I raised it to ally in to minutes.

People people people... If you are not an evil race, (iksar, ogre troll etc.) There is an easier way to gain faction from dubious (deeppockets) to Kindly considerable in a matter of let's say. 1 minute? here's the thing. Go to Lendel Deeppockets at the top of the rogue guild in RV. Click on him and say 'I want the job' over and over, it automatically raises faction just by saying that. Thought it might help if anyone is interested in the Slaythe or anything

I tried this today with amiable faction and it seems to be bugged. I get a slightly garbled response and no faction hit.

your faction is all bad. Go to Lendel Deepockets at the top of Fool's Gold. Click on him and say 'I want the job' multiple times. It will raise Deeppockets faction easily. Only takes about 20-30 seconds to get to Dubious to kindly considerable

I think they closed that little hole. I tried your trick and received no faction shift. If that's a solution I'll stick to hunting bixies. I'm on good terms with Deeppockets but she basically told me where to stick my help and only insults me when I try to converse
