Attainable Warrior Agro Weapon
Is the Wrapped Entropy Serpent Spine still the top pre-raiding agro weapon a warrior can buy?

I am 54 currently, and can't imagine not having my WESS... I'd say yes to your question.. The jump in prices or efforts to attain something better goes way beyond a casual player. Which is me...

You can get loot rights to Infestation for under 10k probably.

WESS can be dangerous because of the blind effect causing mobs to flee when outside of melee range. I used sarnak hammer and frostbringer until i got infestation. Now i use infestation and frostbringer. Aggro had always been sufficient, especially when grouping with competent players

And yes Varren is right. WESS can be dangerous. I suggest not pulling with melee when you have it equipped.... But if you are conscious of what you're doing, then my answer is still yes. This is a wonderful pre-raiding weapon. And would be fine on many raids anyways..

If I had to redo my warrior, I'd buy a sarnak warhammer and a frostbringer and save a lot of my dkp / plat

Frostbringer/skean pretty easily attainable combo. Skean generally free, just gotta watch that /who all steamfont

By the way, I would consider Infestation a preraiding weapon as you dont really need a big group to kill Vilefang. The proc is humongous aggro and the damage is great too. In my experience, one proc and your white damage will hold things just fine, so long as you’ve got some haste.

But for raiding warriors who use hammer (clicky slow) for threat it is not a game changer. Get a WESS best threat from lv 1
