Genuinely curious if the staff actually did *anything* to support this event. From what I can tell they don't support the community at all other than answer petitions and janny the forums.

It has always struck me as very odd the complete lack of... well anything from the staff on "the most popular private EQ server". No events, no special gatherings, no GM endorsed anything.

They don't get paid.

Not to mention, it's cool that the community itself could manage to organize something without any staff involvement. That's almost the point of the game!

In the last 7 years I can remember 1 very poorly ran Halloween event on Blue that didnt work, and I guess they did do BoTB on green - what am I missing?
