Classic graphics are far better, you'll notice the newer graphics are way brighter and have no 'worn' look to them, looks like some kid just cut them out with construction paper.

From the post on how to update:

TUTORIAL:

1.) (optional) Back-up all current .s3d files in your Everquest folder (sort file types by using details view in windows)
2.) Download Textures: http://p99.yourfirefly.com/ (thanks to norova for hosting)

3.) extract RAR to EQ folder C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest (rewrite all)

and you're done! easy right?
So it looks like to revert, you need to replace the *.s3d files you've updated with the ones from a default install of P99. Should put you back to classic low-res textures. Let us know how that works out for you.
