Default Is the use of an MMO Gaming mouse ok with P99?

I'd like to get an MMO mouse. But I know that there are strict rules against, and scans for the use of macro's. Do MMO mice get caught up in this? Is there a blanket ban? Do certain one's pass?

Thanks!

No. Mousewheels and three button mice are also highly illegal.

You can’t use a device that auto clicks or has software that messes with p99. Basically any device that allows a user to perform normal inputs. Use EQ’s mapping and macros.

Mousewheels are fine, lol. So long as they don’t free-spin independent of a finger moving it.

Thanks good to know. I just know that a lot of these have software they use and macro capability, and didn't want to lose out on my eq fun.

I use an MMO mouse but I just have the buttons on the side mapped to their equivalent numbers on the number bar, 1-=(12). I'm not sure what kind of macros you'd use since EQ already has macros built in that work just fine for things that require a lot of input like twisting.

Highly recommend a mouse with a numpad on the side, it's really nice for skills/spells
