Crashed while zoning, now Empty Server List forever
I crashed while zoning and now my server list is empty. I tried installing EQ on another PC and trying to sign in, and that PC has an empty server list also. I tried searching the forums for this issue and saw suggestions to use a VPN. I tried this and got the same results. I then tried to reinstall my game, same empty server list. Reboot, same issue.
Has this happened to anyone else? Just want to play everquest. Thanks.

EQ is very sensitive to dropped packets or those received out of order because it uses UDP (rather than TCP). You mentioned trying a VPN, which usually works as it helps counter any routing issues on your ISPs part. Power cycle any parts of your network you have access to, and if that doesn't help then unfortunately you're at the mercy of your ISP to realize there's a problem. Fortunately, when these issues do occur they are usually resolved within a week or two, so my best recommendation would be to keep trying and eventually you'll find it working again.

I installed it on my windows and it didn't fix the issue. Same missing DLL files. I have not installed the gcc addon, as I unfortunately don't know how to do that.

Usually you just reboot and wait. For me personally it takes a couple of minutes, once it took like half an hour. As you can see this is a common issue: https://www.google.com/search?q=eq+e...ver+list+empty Good luck on finding your solution, hopefully it's just some more waiting.
