New Leaderboard

After about 4 hours of troubleshooting tonight, we've figured out what the issue was today with the leaderboard monitor crashes. It turns out that when inputting a kill, the script is crashing when it goes to sort the player rankings (by points of course), likely due to the large number of players in the system at this point (about 6500).

Because I'm tired as hell, I have simply disabled the ranking updates for the time being. I will implement a solution tomorrow, in addition to inserting all the missed kills from today. So don't be alarmed if you're gaining points but not gaining ranks.

I think I have most of the missed kills in my logs (and in PMs from people) and will get them all inserted tomorrow.

Hey guys, sorry for the issues - I've been pretty busy irl with a database job for a client and have been spending some time with these when I'm free:

They call me the goat whisperer and it's my job to get these goats personable and not afraid of being touched. This means that for 2-3 hours every day I get to play with 6 baby goats and their 3 moms. Two more babies are on the way! These are Pygora goats (a cross between a pygmy and angora) bred specifically for fleece. They are known for their medium size and their friendly demeanor. The babies are playful, intelligent, curious, and a lot of fun to be with.

I love it. Anyways, I promise I'm working on these issues. We will get all these missed kills inserted, and at the end of the season I will run a script to recompute everything chronologically so that all the point values are correct for kills inserted at a later time.

Any possible manipulation will have to be investigated. Be warned - I will disable the board for you if you are caught with any deliberate manipulation or points farming. In the new season, we will be monitoring such things very very closely. Don't make me do it baby.
