Default Anyone remember tells not working while zoning?

I just had a flashback memory of reminding everyone I was having /tells with that I was either zoning, or just finished zoning...

Tells not working at all, while zoning... who remembers this? [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I never played beta and definitely remember saying "zone" via tell. I still do it with an a buddy boss text when I'm doing something I can't reply during.

I started EQ on Jan 18, 2000, and I got tricked when I first started because the /consent allowed someone to loot you as well. So it had to be fixed past then. It was one of my earliest game memories of being scammed in my first week.

They never completely fixed it. Pretty sure there is still a tiny window it will be lost. But i remember. If I was talking to anyone and zoned you'd always warn them you were zoning or right after you zoned you'd tell them you just zoned so they knew they had to resend a potentially lost tell.
