Illegible Text in client/character creation

I've been trying to find a walkthrough for this problem, but seem to be missing it. Any help?

The text is just too small and close together for me to read anything at all.

This occurs due to a screen resolution problem. What is your current native desktop resolution and what resolution are you launching the game with? If you are familiar with adjusting your eqclient settings try changing the screen resolution to something slightly smaller than native and run the client in windowed mode. If you are using EQW try bypassing it as a test with the launch.bat in your EQ directory.
