Safest most mana/time efficient way to kill.

So I'm levelling on Guard Pendlier in Paineel, I have str and regen on me all the time but I pretty much just kill him with Frost Strike and have time to med for the next one give or take.

I want to move on to:

To farm coldain heads for my alt.

However at 28 one cleaned my clock.

So I'm wondering, now 29, wether I'll go back sometime between now and 34 and have another attempt.

But what is the most effecient way of killing them, root rotting? Nuking? Should I buff myself and meelee or not bother bother with those and keep my distance?

Secondly is it cost effective.
There's one guard that pops every 6 minutes and I can make 7p a time off him.
So in 3 hours I can make 210p easily.
Dain heads are 200p and a very rare drop.
Would I be better off farming cash to buy dain heads?
At least untill I'm on a slower spawn for exp givers?
But once I hit 34 I'll also be able to gank the weaker skellys in quiet periods to get way more money in the downtime even tho the exp has slowed...
