CDC:

Cloth and surgical mask-wearing (respectively) at a distance of 50 cm (1.6 feet) resulted in (Figure 2):
- 57%–58% and 73%–76% decrease in viral load and infectious virus titer, respectively, received when the spreader was masked.
- 37%–50% and 17%–47% decrease in viral load and infectious virus titer, respectively, received when the receiver was masked.
- 60%–71% and 68%–76% decrease in viral load and infectious virus titer, respectively, received when both the spreader and the receiver were masked.

There ya go moron
Why call me a moron? I'm just weighing the evidence. This Danish study from a highly reputable journal states that masks are pretty much useless. 5000 pop sample size.

"The recommendation to wear surgical masks to supplement other public health measures did not reduce the SARS-CoV-2 infection rate among wearers by more than 50% in a community with modest infection rates, some degree of social distancing, and uncommon general mask use. The data were compatible with lesser degrees of self-protection."

Ok so what that means is there’s conflicting data which means that there’s a chance wearing a mask could reduce spread thereby helping to save lives. Wear a mask in case it works.

Fuckin gay ass science words are meaningless
They know that their remarks are frivolous, open to challenge. But they are amusing themselves, for it is their adversary who is obliged to use words responsibly, since he believes in words.

from your link lol

"Inconclusive results, missing data, variable adherence, patient-reported findings on home tests, no blinding, and no assessment of whether masks could decrease disease transmission from mask wearers to others."
You could piss in any direction and find a study with conclusive results that masks reduce the rate of infection for covid, or any influenza virus.

Anyone who denies the Son does not have the Father, but whoever confesses the Son has the Father as well.
-1 John 2:23

Which strangely is correlated to John 2:23-25:

Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Festival, many people saw the signs he was performing and believed in his name. But Jesus would not entrust himself to them, for he knew all people. He did not need any testimony about mankind, for he knew what was in each person.

Well we *know* that reducing the speed limit on all interstate highways to 30mph would reduce traffic fatalities immensely. That's not even up for debate (unlike mask wearing) however we don't do it. Why don't we do it?

How are those versus designed to be fit together. You’re saying Jesus did not confess himself so is without the father? Interesting. I’m not sure why you’re telling that to some giant forest dinosaur bird in a thread about masks.

Off-topic is simply chugging along as normal; Jesus, politics, trans stuff, covid. Don't question the formula.

But they also don’t not work.

Binary thinking, eh?
Burden of proof should be within the institutions mandating compliance. Again, I'm not aware of any studies that actually show evidence of people that wear masks having less of a chance of acquiring Covid-19. The masks even have a disclaimer saying that it does not prevent Covid-19.
