BW is way better than raptors from 50-60. Until your high 50s, you can pull 20-40 dark blue mobs in BW in a few minutes. Even at 56-60 you can get an average of 10-20 dark blues per pull.

Seriously? Are you bards the reason I couldn't ever find more than 2 or 3 DB mobs there at 52? =P

I did most of 55 through 60 in bw... tried raptors a bit and it was so much slower because at MOST you get 12 blue cons per pull, plus they are usually camped.

I agree with Pescador, post 50 Burning Woods is amazing. I can do my gather circuit (only doing skeles and bees for now, gorillas run slightly faster) in 15 min, then spend 20-25 minutes finishing off the kite, usually consisting of 40-50. It may take a bit to finish them off, but usually net me around 20-25% of lvl in 51 and maybe 600pp in sellables. Dodging Sarnak and Wurms is a lot easier than it seems. But I can definitely see how it can not be someones cup of tea.

BW has too much bullshit like giants, wurms, casters, resistant mobs (Scoriae Hornets), etc., for my tastes.

The hornets aren't resistant to any of the Bard ae dots since none of them are fire based..

L8-15ish: Bandits in SK. There is a spawn of about 12 bandits on the North shore of South Karana east of the bridge. They are on 6 minute spawns I believe, and they will all agro when you pull, perfect for you bards learning the moves. Pull them and kite them out on the flat area south of them, it has few wanderes.

This is death don't kite these guys. They have dispel and root (some of them at least)

The hilarious thing is that dispel is resistable on p99. Bard's main stat should be Magic Resist anyway, but this makes it double.

Try CoM as an AoE spot. I did it on my bard from 40-53. It works and is nice exp/loot. It's not quite as fast as OT/BW, but I definitely earned a lot more money doing CoM.

Also, it was always a challenge to kite CoM, with all its funky pathing.
