Ender thinks hes a bad man because he joined one of the biggest zergs at the beginning of the server <Uprising> to protect him, then as soon as possible he jumped ship to Nihilum (this was like February after the server was already ruined by Rogean banning Holocaust). But in all seriousness, GMs have said the biggest problem with keeping players on r99 is griefing. Item loot brings griefing to a whole new level. I highly doubt it will ever be implemented.

GMs are one of the worst sources for what keeps players on red99. They would be the worst if it wasn't for the stupidity of the player base on here. GMs just use reason and guess at what the problem is from a perspective of an outsider looking in.

You risk your gear to have a better chance of winning in pvp and in pve. Do naked casters have less risk? Yep, they also die fast as fuck. Is there more risk/reward here with no item loot? No, theres no fucking risk at all for either party. In a game 100% based around getting gear do you honestly think people wont play melees or use any gear?

You want consequence-less deathmatch pvp go play a game that takes even a tiny bit of skill like counterstrike or quake. Otherwise you should check out WoW, they have battlegrounds where you can pvp all day and don't have to worry about risking your precious pixels.

You risk absolutely nothing being a naked caster and ganging up on people with items. They were endemic on all item loot pvp servers.

And yes, no one will play a melee. My evidence? Every fucking item loot server that's ever existed.

Here is what your pvp will look like: all melees will stand still bagging their gear in panic while getting nuked and blinded by a group of naked casters.

That is your glorious pvp server right there. Then after a month, and all melees are off the server or have rerolled casters, your population will be next to nothing. My evidence? Every fucking item loot server that's ever existed.
