Default realtek and microphones

As we all know, they don't play nice with each other .whelp here is a fix that may or may not work for you. Apparently in Vista and Win 7 your Mic has to be set up from the speech recognition . No mater what Mic you have , choose other and then just read the silly lines till your computer recognizes what you say. once you have doe this, don't fiddle with the Mic settings or it will go back to the scratchy static pita you had to begin with......... Hope this helps .

Just make sure the HD Audio or Realtek 97 headers are connected and turn off the microphone so there's no noise. I can't remember what that word is called, haha. But, turn UP the boost. After that, you shouldn't hear any noise and what they hear is clear and coherent.
