That being said, there are certain scenarios that would enrage me beyond reason or critical thought. Seeing my girl, or even any girl (or any vulnerable person such as a kid or old person), getting physically whaled on by some dude would likely cause an instant physical confrontation with me And if I’m going to fight, I fully intend to win that fight. I don’t have much formal training and I acknowledge that. But I’ve seen countless street fight videos and many seem to have one large similarity: either the guys can’t throw hard, or I think choose not to. I think a lot of guys start a street fight only going like 70-80% of max. And then sometimes they realize oh shit is this like life or death? And then they turn it up. But me, I am worried I could and WOULD throw much harder than most guys I see in street fights And it’s not meant to be a braggy thing but a concern thing. Like I just saw the vid of the guy in NY who DA Alvin Bragg tried to nail to the wall legally for defending himself against a crazy homeless guy attacking him with a board with nails in it At first hearing the headline, and already hating Alvin Bragg, I was like WTF! But then I saw the vid. And like most homeless guys, this one was borderline emaciated. He was a fucking twig. Yeah he had a board with nails. And he swung it with the force of a 5th grader. And the Asian dude (not nearly a fighter himself), rained like 12 punches to the bum’s face breaking all his orbital bones See I see that vid and I think “I wouldn’t have fought that homeless guy, even though he was attacking me. Because it was a half assed attack, he’s super weak, and I would have easily EASILY killed him. Better to just get away, maybe push him down if needed to help with that” So while I don’t agree that the Asian guy should get the multiple felonies Alvin Bragg wanted to charge him with, he shoulda realized it was a complete mis-match of a fight, to use combat sports terminology

Interestingly enough, it’s not just us humans that start measured and turn it up My dad back in the day had sent me a vid of a dog confronting a large snake to protect the people around. At first the dog was just barking, and his barks had a certain aggressive confident tone But then the snake struck, a good bite I forget exactly where on the dog. And right then the dogs barks changed to a bit of a shrill shriek. And you could tell it’s dog brain had just realized “oh shit this thing can really hurt me” …And it went into savage mode. Grabbed the snake by the head and shook so hard it was dead in seconds It’s like there’s various levels of intensity to fights. We don’t all start at the same or end at the same level

But the first few staff members this guy checked, all donated to Dems. I knew Snopes was biased when they never once mentioned anything about the Jussie Smolette hoax. That was big news back in the day. Had he been a Repub, they’d have been all over it Where I heard this about the donations is linked below. Now did this have a role to play in FB’s decision? Did they catch wind that Snopes staff was donating to Dems? Who knows: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=

Oh also one of the Snopes staff was moonlighting as a hooker or something? I personally don’t have a huge problem with that. Had she been a hooker and her other job was involving kids, or being the face or symbol of some company, then yea, it would be a problem It’s crazy though how much more your off the clock actions now affect your livelihood. That Eagles fan that cussed out that chick lost their job over it Shit I gotta be on point now IRL
