Did my civic duty and voted. Now please leave me alone with the 10-15/day political spam texts. Just like any other ad, when you shove it in my face 10 times a day it makes me not want to choose it out of spite. Part of the reason I couldn’t stand cable tv. The same 4-5 ads on over and over all day, made my eye start to twitch

For me, something good that happened today was finally wrapping up some paperwork for my car purchase. I had been stressing about finding the right vehicle and making sure it’s reliable, but I managed to land a great deal on one of The Most Reliable Car Brands, which gives me so much peace of mind.
Funny enough, the process also reminded me how complex shipping cars can be, especially when you’re dealing with overseas purchases or coordinating timelines.

Something good? Bots self destructing and linking the video of their deaths here.

Hay guys I just got back from my amazing trip to some shithole I booked with trip scammer, and when I got back I went out and got a new shitbox of a car I bought with car site scammer. I also recently got engaged to my girlfriend I met on Cam girl scam. I also work for the FBI and will need you all to verify your identity by sending me $1000 in Amazon gift cards
What a great day! | ||

Not today but this past saturday I played a fantastic show with my band of eight years, whose primary songwriter and guitarist died two years ago and it was like a memorial thing for him so our sax player filled in and somebody else played sax. There was a great turnout so we got lots of free food and booze so I ordered a huge reuben like a fatass cause it was at this nice hotel with a good kitchen

Had to shell out $1300 but got my AC on the house fixed. It’s old but the AC guy is a friend who was saying that the older units like mine should be able to get like 18-20 years with proper maintenance. So I felt I made the right choice vs balling out $6k+ for a new unit
I’ve had multiple friends and family members have their brand new units breaking frequently and I said to the guy what’s with not just AC’s but older appliances in general just being so much more reliable than the newer stuff? Is this just my conspiracy brain but is the newest stuff being built to break or just has shit quality control or something? He was already smiling like he agreed as I was asking it and said he can only speak for the AC units but the newer ones have many more sensors where if one of them gets tripped, everything shuts down I just notice with microwaves, ovens, hot water heaters, etc, a lot of the older stuff is reliable as hell for years and years and the newer stuff seems to be kinda crap /shrug

Some pics from the Holiday light parade tonight. As the only available dude there, was fun flirting with a nurse and therapist separate gals as they each got more drunk. As long as I played it safe and didn’t commit to either and get too physical in front of the other, no resulting drama and neither finding an excuse to leave early or anything. Now can meet up with either again in the future
