Default Miss rate goes up when mobs run away.(help)

I've noticed that my miss rate on a mob that's fleeing goes up like 400% no matter if Im playing warrior using 2hd /enc using dagger /or pal using sword n shield. Is this intended and does anyone know tricks to counter it thanks?!!!!!

It sure seems that way, but I doubt it's the case.

It must be that their evasion skills are just too high. Remember to always run in a serpentine pattern and nothing will hit you!

If anything you should hit harder and more often on a fleeing mob as defense from the rear is worse - are you factoring "your target it too far away" into your miss rate calculation or something?
