Yep. I was also going to say something about this point. A lot of the gear people have on their toons was not something they personally looted. However, they put in the time and energy elsewhere to get the plat. The same is true in the real world where I doubt many people crafted their own house or each item furnishing it. I wouldn't tell them they didn't work for what they have.

I mean, it's definitely not the same, but it's time and effort nonetheless. I get a lot of "damn you sure are twinked. i prefer to work for my gear though" when I'm leveling alts, as if my gear just materialized out of thin air the first time I logged my alt on or something.

on top of that most u anti-mq fuckfaces probably don't remember "WTS Thurg Silk/Chain/Plate MQs, you provide gems".

MQing is a godsend when Velious comes around...don't even act like it wasn't and don't even try to say "zomg earn that shit yourselves"...when you get your 10th plate bracer and not the greaves or bp...hell some pieces of silk/leather were rare as hell and it would be pretty shitty to let that rot when you could make some plat off it

Problem isn't the MQing but inflated economy, which is caused by too much time between expansions. I do find it hilarious when there are comments like

Remember MQ also allows people to mess up handins and not have the items poof... so there's value above and beyond sales of MQs...
