The very next sentence about findings from that study, which OP of course leaves out, also claims that asymptomatic people can't infect people. This is of course not true as we know asymptomatic transmission does in fact occur.

Just because one study suggests something doesn't mean it's true. Scientific illiteracy is so rampant. Our education systems are failing too many people. One of the terrible consequences of this is you get people like G13 who can't properly evaluate the research literature.

It's complicated. A lot of studies are poorly designed, have confounds, lack appropriate statistical power, or are flawed for other reasons. Scientific research is heavily flawed, in large part because of the need for money to carry out research and in many cases the desire to make money. But at the same time, we've amassed a lot of knowledge. Vaccines, for instance, are really quite amazing at what they do for us and of course they wouldn't have been invented without prior research into how our immune systems work. Medicine is constantly evolving. We continually learn new things and sometimes have to reevaluate what we thought we once knew.

they are not versed into politics, I don't even think they know the differences between policy and opinion. They just spew the name of a few politicians they don't like and demonize an entire party that millions of Americans adhere to and call that politics.
