can mobs proc weapons?

If i smuggled velium brood axes onto crushbone legionnaires would they be able to proc it, or does this only work for charmed mobs?

They should be able to proc it.

This only works for charmed mobs - if you give an uncharmed mob a weapon it'll poof. Charm the mob first, give weapon, then break charm. Then it will proc.

If you just give it to them without charming first, they will sometimes show it but it won't proc.
If you charm,give to to them and break charm it will function properly.
Confirmed by all the times my pets proc on me on breaks
