New player help

So I'm new and I'm playing a wizard (i enjoy it and dont want to change classes). I am stumped on something though. I have a spell Pillar of Fire that I need for quading and ive looked up that its a research skill. So i spent a bunch of time gathering the runes to craft it and it failed. Come to find out My skill just isnt high enough to make them. So how do people get the spells they need for their level if research is capped at low levels? I also havent seen anyone selling the spell.

1. Gather the materials and ask someone higher level than you to research it for you.
2. Wait until your level is sufficient so that your capped research skill is enough for the combine to be trivial. (look up practice runes)
3. Attempt the combine repeatedly. There's still a chance of success.
4. Tunnelquest.

Agreed with just finding a higher level wizard to do the combine for you, most people are pretty accomodating, especially with something like this.

Skilling up research can be a bit expensive for a new player
