you're probably right about th victim, but I think from their perspective, they are just pro-cat-cohabitation and dont understand that some cats, such as tigers are dangerous. They just see cats and their perceptions of cats are shaped by visits to pet shops and zoos and and pro-cat literature. most have never interacted with a cat in the wild or witnessed the destructive capacity of cat ideology, believing that prevailing cat ethos is generally peaceful and only turns violent when a cat feels threatened.
