At some level of crazy euthanasia needs to be an option and it's time to address what is causing the insanity. Because you cannot cure or heal or rehabilitate everyone.

Everyone should get the opportunity at least once for incidents that don't result in violence. Once violence, injury or bodily harm is a part of the mix it's time to evaluate the above. Unless it is mutual combat or a medieval duel, grande melee in a field. Between designated and consenting parties.

Especially if you're dumb enough to get caught. That should pretty much be game over. Insane or not.

Now if someone checks themselves in voluntarily before doing something..they should get 5 star treatment. And assessed, given options accordingly. And taken seriously.
