Default Soloing Ghoul Arch Magus as 53 Enchanter?

Been really getting tired of migrating between wyverns and sentient armors and back again. Wanna get XP and loot at a unique camp, and love the downtime. What's the pro-strat here?

Should I calm and pet the other mob then slow the magus?
Should I stunlock instead of slow?
Should I get that useless tiny dagger pet out and watch it get murked helplessly seriously how does anyone get any use out of those things?

If anyone has any thoughts let me know. Loving the enchanter solo experience, just wanna try different things.

Yeah I would calm the back room and kill it in the front hallway area, then med up, then jump over the ladder and go calm the named room and have them kill each other. They're casters so keep them rooted and stay around the corner to avoid geting double nuked, and be ready to recharm and right when the broken pet gets broken LOS you can stun it and recharm and send it back in. You just have to be careful because they'll run through the curtains into that back room if you haven't cleared it.

Thats my 2 cps.

Use the dar that spawns in the hallway.
Haste/torch it,will eat the magus or it's pH.
Try to mez interupt magus nukes, will be trivial camp at your lvl.
While you wait for respawns clear the hand room for some rings

If your having trouble targeting the other mob to calm it,target the pH with /target and bind sight.
You don't need to,camera tricks with f9 should be more than enough

Solid advice, thank you very much, I will make sure back room is clear and using the dar knight sounds reliable and potentially easier to deal with in case of charm break. Also i love the camera tricks you can do in this game, will be sure to exploit them : ) Gonna try it soon, screenshots if it's a success, shameful silence if it isnt!

Stunning is solid advice. Maybe even having more than one up. An unlucky nuke can end your day pretty quick, otherwise easy fight.

I tend to just chain mez difficult casters while my pet kills them, that way when I get a break the named is usually already mez'd

It can be annoying because sometimes a youll get in a situatino where the named regens a few ticks but its not really a big dael.

Pacify all the mobs around him. Charm a pet, give it a torch and haste. Root Magus, dispel DS, profit.
