Default Log file doesn't show up

Just got back recently from taking a year off, playing now on a fresh install and even though I've got logging turned on (log=true in the ini file) no logs are showing up. Game is installed into C:\Everquest. Can't figure this one out so far, any ideas?

The eqclient.ini setting might be case sensitive - make sure it reads as Log=TRUE.

Try running EQ with administrative privileges - if it creates a log file after doing this then that means your Windows user account needs elevated permission to write to your C drive. That can easily be changed from an administrative user account, otherwise you'd just have to run EQ with administrative privileges from now on.

If configured correctly new log files for each character you sign in will be generated in your EverQuest\Logs folder.

Bahh figured it out. Didn't delete the original install in program files and still had winEQ pointed to that one. Thx Paul.

I've started a wiki article to go over log troubleshooting and resources (feel free to contribute):
