https://ripple.com/faq/

https://ripple.com/company/

great looking employees, it shows investors not who started it, who owns it and how its regulated.

Definitley no mention of any banks or governments thats for sure, looks like a private coin company to me.

Banks all over the world are heavily invested in Ripple for the payment processing network. People say it will one day replace PayPal as it's already much more efficient. Ripple also recently became one of the highest earning companies in Silicon Valley.

They're also planning on taking over the international "cross-border payment" system (which hasn't been updated since 1973).

It's currently the #3 crypto, under Bitcoin and Ethereum.

I don't have any, but I really should get some.

Ripple is just a well done marketing scheme which made the founders very wealthy.

I don't think it actually has any real application in the banking world.

ripple is the one where you can't mine the coins and have to buy them?

it's a meme coin. might as well invest in Krono or reddit gold [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Yes, Ripple is 100% pre-mined by the devs. Just like regular money which is 100% issued by the central bank / federal reserve / whatever.
