starting in halas is a trap / taking a persons monster
whenever newbies start in halas how come they dont get winter clothing. what if they all die from hypothermia or they're hands fall off from frostbite. then no one will play.
Why do i get in trouble when taking a mob from someone. If they are camping it they would have a sleeping bag and a tent and maybe a campfire with some marshmellows. but they dont. when i go camping i dont wait for a monster to appear. i roast marshmellows on a campfire. why doesnt everyone else

A lot of running in narrow valleys without much space to maneuver/run away. The only thing I could kill were decaying skeletons and whelps at level 1. Polar cubs, spiders, scouts which were the primary mobs could all kill me... to say nothing of that patrolling vengeful lyrist. I ended up learning the route back to Qeynos and levelled 1-4 there instead. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

I've just started on P1999, not played EQ Live since LDON. And I must say I forgot how much of a pain in the ass Everfrost is. You struggle to find level 1 mobs to kill, and then struggle to find mobs that give decent EXP to get level 4/5. On top of running into those vengeful Skellies.
I later made a Druid Hobbit, and made level 5 in probably a 3rd of the time. Hi BTW!
