Default Cannot Move Chat Window or Buff Window

Hello all,

I have a problem and wondering if anyone has a solution.

When I first got into the game, I had to move my windows to where I wanted them. I adjusted them all for the time being but now want to rearrange some things.

I am unable to move my main chat window (its NOT locked) or my buff window (not locked either) .

All other windows I can freely move by putting my cursor on the edge of the window.

When I put my cursor on the edge of the chat bar or buff bar, it only allows me to change the size.

One of the things I wanted to add was another window to move my combat messages to, and when I create a new window, its the same thing, I can't move it but can only adjust its size.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Hi Xaix

You know what, I logged into the game to screen shot for you and noticed a messaged that I probably never payed any attention to. It said my XML files are not compatible with my current EQ files and some windows may not perform correctly.

Any idea how to fix this? That is probably the reason

PS - it says to type /loadskin default 1 to correct it, and I did that but nothing changed

if you could just use the Print Screen button on your keyboard and then open Paint and while you are in paint please use the Ctrl+V keyboard combo to paste into paint
then cut out the unneeded/unwanted parts

Ya my window doesn't have that "main chat" bar... its just a flat box as you see in my screen shot. I can right click it to make sure its not locked. and thats how i made a new window as well
