but it solved pretty much every issue i had noticed say pretty much cause dont know if is some i have not noticed but they said use compatibility mode with win xp2 i looked all over for it on the bat file shortcut well not there that i could find in its properties so i said to self i know exe files have that and went to the actual eq exe and set it to the win xp2 compatibility mode so thanks for pointing me in a direction cause at that point it fixed the game for me thou it still dont fix if you go look at desktop game switches back to window mode | ||

I have had slightly better results with Compatibility Mode for XP Service Pack 3 rather than Service Pack 2.
Your mileage may vary. | ||

good suggestions
borderless window and win xp3 over 2
will say borderless is a hit and miss with some games rather it works right or not or causes more problems but its something i can look at | ||

Good luck! If you find a config that works - post it! I've learned to live with the "half monitor window" mode - although it's somewhat annoying that the client always captures my mousewheel, so when I'm scrolling the wiki my chat boxes go nuts.
