Exclamation Chat filters not working correctly

I have set up 3 chat windows.

1 is for main chat (basically everything that isn't filtered to other windows)
2 is for melee spam (filter most melee combat items)
3 is for spell/song spam (filter some spell items)

The melee spam window seems to work fine, but the spell spam window does not work correctly. As a bard I like to have my songs in the spell spam window, but keep others' spell casts and such in the main chat window (don't ask, just how I liked it on live). When I only had "my spells" filtered to the spell window, it seemed to work at first, but then I noticed everyone's spell casting (Soandso begins to cast a spell) shows up in there as well.

Later I wanted to filter my non-melee damage (spell damage) into the spell spam or melee spam windows. It doesn't go to either one, it always goes to the main chat window no matter what.

I even tried filtering ALL spell items to the spell window, but nothing changes.

Anyone know if there is a way to fix that?

This happens to me as well. Specifically, it only happens when a dot or a direct damage causes the finishing blow on the MOB I am fighting. It will display the last damage caused that killed the MOB in the main chat window.

Bump.

I created a rogue alt and noticed that this problem doesn't occur on that character. I have 2 windows there: main chat, and melee/spell spam. I filtered Melee>ALL and Spells>ALL to that window and it does indeed filter them all properly.

This does not work for my bard, though. Weird.

Default Melee spam

Just to add...see my freezing up message too. My melee spam chat window was actually locking up the game and making me go LD.Could not figure out why with my Ranger only this was happening. Sure enough chat box gone and no more lockups...very odd.
