OBS not picking up wineq2 after update

been using wineq2 for a while to play because I almost never crash when I play on there.

I want to record on OBS but after updating it (haven't used it in a while), all I get is

a black screen

apparently, there is a fix where you have to change how the computer changes its battery settings on obs? I tried it and it's still a black screen

I'm not sure what's going on.

I've experienced similar issues with OBS due to admin

are you running OBS as administrator?

since most tend to run eqgame.exe as administrator, you often have to run obs as admin as well to allow it to hook in for window capture (and sometimes have to edit the window capture settings to re-select the window title)
