Default Zones aren't "real"

So why do our pets die when we cross them?

only because it wasn't written into the original game. Im sure the OG devs wanted this, but you know how funding allocation works and man hours are when a studio sets a date to ship a game, they're plenty happy if the game is 50% functional before they start their beta test phase by live launching the game and just taking player feedback.

but some xpac later on gave pets the ability to cross zone lines with you, independant of that AA that enabled players to summon and buff pets, then put them in their pocket for later.

its weird how zones dont really exist if players arent in them

idk how many of you ever experienced this, but i will use cazic thule as an example

say you solo'ing gators and get in trouble and have to run to zone line... you go afk for like 20 minutes and then zone back in only to discover the train you pulled is still sitting at the zone line because no one else was in the zone

i think i first discovered this in runnyeye, but also saw it replicated in dalnir lol
