All I can think about is how when the power grid goes down, they are gonna be fine.

How are they going to be fine? How is Russia going to be fine without power? That's all you can think of, that a modern industrial nation with a giant transportation network and a massive commercial and manufacturing infrastructure and 146 million mouths to feed is going to be fine without electricity? Because their...tanks...are...old?

They were saying that Kyiv would be impossible to capture weeks before mainstream sources were saying this. Their assessments have been spot on.

TLDR: Russia doesnt have the manpower (morale or otherwise) to continue taking territory. Although Ukraine has its own issues with ammunition/need for for more weapons and Russia's ability to counter Ukrainian drones (which they were unable to do earlier in the war, their have gotten their shit together now). The situation for Ukraine remains dire.
