Question about Trooper Scale Armor quest

Hello, I was wondering if before I even start the quest can I go to the zones I need and kill the mobs for the items. That way I can just get all the items I need and turn them all in. Thank you.

Yes. AFAIK in classic EQ there are no quests that you actually need to hail the quest giver before looting the quest items.
