Sorry if this sounds whiny but I've been camping him around the clock for 3 weeks.

I've spawned him 6 times. He has not dropped the shield. It's a 2 hour 47 minute spawn timer with a 5% chance to spawn.

Is this how it's supposed to work?

Does the shield drop on blue?

It's an extremely rare shield, I've been camping it for years on multiple servers and have experienced what you speak, sometimes RNjesus is just cruel that run, also you never know someone in some other timezone may have gotten em.

Ive gotten the shield on blue as recently as idk, a few months before green? I was doing a mob safari back then and popped it.

I saw it auctioned on Green a month after release. It has dropped at least once.

I've been chatting with the one who got it on green. He never got it to drop on blue. Glad to know that it has semi recently dropped on blue.

The auction data on blue ending in 2018 was not encouraging.

I've been killing it 6 to 7 times a day out of the roughly 8 spawns of the PH. The PH has been up every time i get up in the morning. I've tried killing it at certain in game hours and it doesn't seem make much difference. Really wish he would have dropped it on one of those 6 times I spawned him.

No spawns for the past 2 weeks.

I did clear the zone many many many many many many many weeks before I saw him, so your situation sounds familiar.

Also I have some logs where I sold over 500 bloodstone rings in 1 week camping the gazugi ring.

Sometimes this game is very cruel.

But just think how proud youll be when you wield that shield!

There is 2 items left that I am hunting that I feel your struggle, I have been trying to spawn the PH for months on end at times, and some players just walk into it :smacks forehead:
