Question 1999 Launcher cant find "EQgame"

So, I had an issue another posted had with finding some spell file. I couldnt figure it out so i uninstalled everything and deleted the rest that was leftover in the install folder I use. After restarting and reinstalling and trying to launch from the 1999 launcher I get this message:

[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]


But after checking im 100% sure the file is in that folder with everything else...

I just got into this the day before yesterday and im eager to continue : ). Id appreciate anybodys insight, thanks in advance.

I've encountered this issue before. In my case, it had to do with the fact that I had set the .BAT file that launches Titanium to run as an admin and it caused Windows to freak out.

create a shortcut and click on inspect properties

then in the target: type "patchme" at the end but make sure you put a space

start the game by running it on administrator from the shortcut you made

it might crash a few times when you first start it up but it's natural

most people think its easier to just use https://www.lavishsoft.com/wiki/index.php/WinEQ_2

but still do the "patchme" part
