This is my conclusion too. EQ was designed as a cooperative MMO. The players were supposed to team up against the overpowered bosses. You were supposed to take your ~24 players, gradually clear down, and eventually engage. Player-vs-environment.
However due to the insane population on the server and the slow progression, we get this. Each guild logs on 50 fully buffed players, trains around, and zergs down the boss ASAP before the train gets back. It's no surprise that the game mechanics are not designed for this pseudo-PVP. Sebilis is bad; Fear and hate are much worse. So the goal becomes fucking over the other team in plausibly deniable ways, like dragging corpses around. What boggles the mind is that there are 200+ people on the server that actually the raid scene on blue. What I want to see is any tick where more than 24 players are aggro on trak, the excess are randomly LDed [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Your solution seems to be to continue to bitch about it and do nothing. This perpetuates both the shit that is thrown on RnF and the shit that happens on the server. That is a far worse solution than mine. | |||
