Default Patching Everquest Error

So I followed the guide here at http://www.project1999.org/forums/showthread.php?t=2651 perfectly, and then when I click on the modified shortcut I created on my desktop I get this error:

[You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]

Any clues?

Thanks,
Toehammer

You didn't follow it perfectly. There's a syntax error in your shortcut. You probably didn't contain C:\whatever\everquest.exe in quotation marks if there's a space in that directory structure. Did you also put "patchme" (no quotes) after that path?

hmm... the line in the shortcut is:
"C:\Program Files\Sony\EverQuest\EverQuest.exe" patchme

vista uses spaces so i preserved that... not sure exactly what is wrong
