Well, we're 2 1/2 years on since Kunark release on p99 and:

Trak BPs are going for 50k or less on forums, Epic MQs going for peanuts as well, mid level items are completely devalued which leads to most mid-level zones outside of a few choice cash camps being deserted. On the special event content side, we've had a 6+ month break between BoTBs, zero to no GM events (at least of the caliber they used to be when this server was younger and more fresh - scripted and lore-based). Patches are rare, repops are hit or miss and when announced and are done extremely quickly because of the amount of lvl 60 alts. Blue is supposed to be about advancing your character, a process which for most players has hit a wall.

Most frustratingly the players on blue see no content in sight but rather a new PVP? server that a much smaller minority of players actually care about. And whenever anyone politely asks for a timeline or how they can help speed the process up, they're attacked.

EQ isn't all about the gameplay and mechanics. It's nearly infinitely replayable, but if this server is aiming to keep things truly classic, it needs to stick somewhat to classic progression timeline. Obviously there are hurdles for the devs but the length of time elapsed for this new expansion is in essence destroying the true classic-velious progression experience that P99 officially stands for (mostly for longtime players).

Yes, the classic bug fixes are nice, but imo we need velious to spread the raiding end game out, to balance the economy, and and to give longtime players what they've been wanting. And even if we don't get an announcement, I won't be mad, I'll still be playing, and I'll still love you devs. Just a tad disappointed.
