Was thinking bout installing this, Nilbog still running this or has he turned it over to someone else? Anyway, hows the server population?

Nilbog is still the god of P99. As for the population you can see for yourself on the front page (http://www.project1999.org/), but the short answer is, it's pretty healthy (1kish people on during prime time).
