hail adventurerers

been boxing it up on dota/heros lately... every now and then I come back and think of playing eq box for a minute and then realize its boring. Slaying folks with no death penalty I think is what bores the fuck outta me. Any other folk feel this way? Is this called getting old? Or is the box boring?
Thinking the same thing. While other boxes had shit for code they were always pretty fun for a duration and the wipes kept things fresh for a while. No risk pvp is also a very very sad story.

The day when John Matrix roams the land may never come again.

Def would have taken a break for a while if I didn't get partially restored. Still sucks they removed xp on death (Shit would be stale regardless but maybe a little more fun).

so no death penalty makes small scale pvp boring because there is no "point" if you die, you respawn and go back to griinding/etc etc

however, scholars have found that large scale pvp can still be fun as when you slay a large amount of folks you just caused them some headaches - buffing, organizing a bunch of folks, etc etc

THUS it is clear we must engage in large scale PVP if we want to make eq fun.

but large scale pvp aint ez... gotta know when its taking place... give up your social life in order to stay involved enough etc etc...

so top PvP Champ researchers are working on a solution to automate this part, leaving only the part where you log in and slay folks

Elf Sim Testosterone and bravado messing up people's memory.

There would have been 20-35 players peak for velious if they had kept xp loss in pvp
