NPC Spawn Issue: Thistle Underbrush

Ive camped Thistle probably 50 times and know the camp and placeholder well, but i cannot find the placeholder nor does it path by where it should, perhaps it was changed with Velious or the placeholder is stuck somewhere but something is up because i must of spent 4 hours looking for the placeholder and killing every "a faerie maiden" i could find and gating back to spawn location and nothing spawned there.

Also having severe issue with this spawn. Have spent 8+ hours on multiple occasions now killing maidens on tracking in wolf form with absolutely nothing. Neither Thistle OR Bracken. Something is up with this spawn.

Can anyone confirm a recent sighting?

I've been farming him for a couple of hours tonight with no luck either.
I was playing on a ranger with track covering quite a lot of space and didn't pop a single time. Killed all the maidens everywhere non stop. I guess I don't mind if that's just the way it is and it is a long camp - but I would like at least to be confirmed it's not "broken" hehe.

he spawned frequently long ago and now I rarely if ever see him

I used to kill the brownies that roamed to the pixie tower and eventually Thistle would pop on track around the fairies

The dark elves are frequently on my track so even if i am not "near them" i know my track range goes far enough [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
Thank you for your answers, that probably means the spawn is not broken per se at least, so i'll give it another try. However, if killing the brownies is a place holder, I'm in trouble as they are quite more difficult to kill as a solo 33 ranger than faerie maidens [You must be logged in to view images. ive seen him spawn after I killed some brownie outcasts but it might have been random luck coincidence

Bracken Underbrush is much lower than Thistle and probably has lower lvl PHs

( I have only seen Bracken I think twice in the past 6 years lol )

His chance to spawn hasn't changed, but I did review his loot table. I increased his chance to drop the mistletoe, added brownie parts, and the Braided Ivy Cords will drop less often.
