We have free speech. It's just at times people confuse it for being IMMUNE to consequences. Free speech is about being able to call someone a twat, its also about accepting they may give you a broken nose for it.

If you think the crackdown on hate speech is an infringement of that you are mistaken.

Hate speech should be allowed. Tepplers exist in the world. I’d rather have them free to make fools of themselves as opposed to them going the school shooter / lone wolf route

Maybe we don't hear of [school shootings] because of our heavily regulated and controlled media, but we don't seem to have school shootings in the UK. How about the US?

Afaik hate speech only seems to carry consequences when accompanied with calls to action. Maybe I'm wrong on that.

Mass shootings also largely didn’t exist in the 60s and 70s.

We’ve had mass immigration and open borders since then. UK doesn’t have a southern border like the US where they are constantly flooded with illegal immigrants. I suspect that’s a large part of the difference if we are doing an honest analysis here. When you have a society on the same page with a stronger family unit reinforcing mental stability, these shootings don’t happen. America is a sick nation right now for sure.

Well you previously encouraged me to assassinate those who you perceive to be the political tools of the elites, and endorsed the murder of a British MP, so I can somewhat sympathise with his impression that you could be implicated in act of defiant violence.

Elections are rolling around the UK soon. Our chance to 'shoot' our leaders down.

Today had flyers pledging to provide bursaries to train nurses and invest in the development of affordable entry level housing (no private sector company builds this in the uk, neither have the government for decades). Sounds like the elites with their claws in medical schools and the construction industry want to leach away the common people's tax money!

I think I may buy into it regardless. Having safety net houses and an abudance of trained young nurses makes my unemployed / homeless fantasies so much warmer and snuggly. With housing and healthcare provision no one will want to work! We'll just eat out of food banks!

Lol I’ve simply said political protest and harsh violence is often called for when the elected politicians do not serve their people anymore. You’re trying to morph this into some idea I’m telling you to attack a specific person? I’m not sure if the rest of this post is directed at me, seems like a bit of a non sensical ramble.

Again, freedom of speech allows this. No one is stopping you being racist. BUTTTTT you have to be prepared to face the consequences of it.

Freedom of speech =/= Being immune to the law
