The government currently answers to this country's owners, not its tenants. The owners stand to lose a lot from the impacts on economic activity and oil-related wealth generation that could come with climate regulation.

And it's only a project blue team narrative in the USA where one of our parties shamelessly and openly represents the corporate class. The rest of the world gets it across the spectrum. Le Pen was further left on climate than Clinton.

And I see the issuance of proper, evidence-based rhetoric and positions on climate change as a wholly separate issue from actual substantive, effective regulation on the matter. The former is what we need to see from our government (and our people) to move forward, and the latter is what we'll never see because our government doesn't work.

Lune, by chance did you actually read the transcripts of their conversations? It is clearly a huge difference between saying kill yourself and what she did.

In fact, all you're doing is parroting the defense attorney which is pretty dumb, because 1 they're payed to sound that stupid and well thats about it.

Hell, the only reasonable defense they had was that she was drugged out on anti-depressants and was in a non lucid state for months and months becuse of them.
