BTW since moving from California to S. Carolina one of the biggest differences so far has been a dramatic reduction in the quality of service staff and in the quality of drivers. Also roads like a 3rd world country compared to Cali.
All true. But you also have to pay like half a mil for a cramped townhouse in Cali compared to maybe 150k for a mansion that actually has half an acre or more of a yard in SC. Gas is also like 3x more expensive in Cali v SC, same with most other basic necessities.

That's great. If your business model relies upon jim-crow sharecrop wages, your business deserves to either adapt or go under. There are plenty of other restaurants and retailers that will continue to do just fine paying people a living wage.

I mean what kind of buisness in a free market takes care of roads?

But its funny to hear you say such things after being so stoked to move like 3 weeks ago heh

perhaps such a business could require yearly fees from the local population, in exchange for routine road maintenance in the area.

As someone who has worked in industry where a private entity wedges itself between a quasi-state run utility that would exist whether the private business has inserted itself or not, and dictates the cost-- no thanks.

say no to overbilling
