benefit of ldon was AE kiting 140 mobs / pull during EU primetime

it couldn't be done anywhere near US prime hours, because the load on the server hosting the zone would cause 15 second rubberbanding on npcs

it got nerfed soon after

LDON encouraged active play style and punished being overly cautious. Crawling the way the game is meant to be played!

You could swarm Dulak's Harbour on bard too!

Also lots of fun soling on shaman with stoicism and soulstripper from mid 40s onward.

Looking back, LDoN was probably more harmful than Luclin.

Instances and all.

Don't understand all the hate on cats.

Cats were a good addition. Quit hating.

I thought it was a good way to grind AAs while doing something fun. Timed challenges for completion etc. The rewards weren't up to much from what I remember but I enjoyed my time in there.

They could have done it better of course. Randomly generated crawls akin to Diablo would have kept things relatively fresh, through the lens of P99 I now think maybe some legacy items to grind out would have been fun.

Next step instances

Trying to find a camp is not fun, the instances made it where anyone can find a camp and loot. You didn't have to wait.

"I am a working adult, my time is limited and valuable. Devs please listen and respond to this request. Put instances in so my guildmate/friends/mercs can get a camp , please!, I want to xp and do camps but they are all taken and it's killing me. You already put the bazaar and merc in and you see what a success they have been despite years and years of people here saying they are trash, I leave my sale bot on to make elf coins but now I need better access to camps"

Also college should be free of cost, thx
