Quest Issue: Rozzut's Whistler Quest..

Quest seems to be in game and working except that Gem of Nimbleness does not seem to be dropping in DL for this quest..

- Gem of Nimbless drops off Drolvargs in the Dreadlands.

I can't find any kunark era posts or information on this quest, only information post-luclin.

NPC and Quest can already be started in FV with Allaria Sneakyfeet. So im guessing this is a kunark era quest..i dont see anything in the quest descreption that would hint or suggest Luclin era quest.

just no gem of nimbleness.. /shrug

Incidentally, does anyone know what Dapper Blackhammer, the new NPC near 3 huts in Butcher, is for? He mentions something about the whistler, but other than that and the fact that he needs the 2 required items and 500 plat I can't get him to say anything else. Just say to him "Yes I have work" and he'll give you the text. Must have "Yes" in there, won't work without it.

He is a new npc for the Rozzut's Whistler Dagger quest. It is an 11 dmg 22 del +3 sta/agi 1h piercer, rogue only all races. All you need to get it is 2 items and 500pp. "Frontier Ore" is NO DROP and is found on the Burynai slaves in the mines of nurga as a common drop. "Gem of Nimbleness" is NO DROP and LORE. It is found on Drolvarg in the Dreadlands as an uncommon drop.

The quest starts in Firiona Vie from an npc named, Allaria Sneakyfeet. I'm working on it now with my dark elf rogue. got the Gem of Nimbleness now I just need the ore. Faction should be loads of fun.... =(

I'm sure there is more info available for this. I think its non-classic because an 11/22 piercer shouldn't be like 500pp O.o.

If evidence is found that it IS classic, we'll add it.

Part of this quest is in the game already. Like the turnin npc in BB (he even asks for the quest items and mentions the reward). Seems the quest item drops are missing (or extremely rare). Just curious if this quest was available from start of Kunark and if so, will it be available soon?

A date for the quest or associated npcs from before 2002.. preferrably in Kunark.

Look up Gem of Nimbleness. See how first posts are in 2002?

Like the Tokyo2001.com page. Great site, but the actual entry date for the quest on their bbs was..2002

My only remaining thought concerning this quest is.

we all know they had alot of broken kunark quests initially when they released it.
Could this have been one also that they only went back and fixed at a later date?

p.s As a rogue on this server. I'd just like to say. that I think the addition of this weapon would greatly benefit the rogue players, not quite as obviously as just a 11/22 weapon. but more so to the fact that. Comparable weapons are being traded in ecomm for ALOT of pp. they cost alot of pp because there is not a huge selection of available weps for use so people take advantage of that. Anyways i guess what I'm saying is. adding this quest and giving the rogue players the option of being able to quest a decent weapon. with a nominal fee. is beneficial all the way around.

My group killed well over 40 burynai slaves today in Nurga in response to the recent addition of the Whistler and it's quest to the wiki. No ore dropped, so I'm assuming nothing has changed. Sad face.
