What happened to Trump putting Hillary and Obama in jail over the last 4 years anyway? Oh - there wasn't a crime to charge them with? It was all propaganda? Weird.

They dont even know that communism means no private property. Thats the MAIN element of communism. Everything is owned by the state. All business, all property, and anything not nailed down. So how exactly is china "communist" when they allow people to have private property and own business' outside of the government control?
Can you even define communism...? Maybe tell us three or four of the main feature of communism which makes it different from socialism or marxism?? Anyone? Yea. I didnt think you could, either.

Next, Communism is a derivative or marxism.. so there is interrelation. But to cut to the chase, modern-day communism accomplishes the goal of dogmatic control (i.e., owning your property), by owning the businesses. If you look up China's largest companies, they are all either completely state-owned or partially state-owned. The Chinese government will also force the companies to allow their "party members" to sit on the board or in other pivotal roles. Society, in general, has swung its pendulum towards capitalism, so there is no need for communist countries to own everyone's property. The goal of that is to keep people poor and submissive, correct? They do that now by controlling the way their businesses function and thus keeping a cap on their society. I will agree that this might not fall within the confines of the generic definition of communism, but it is clearly a modern-day expansion of that. *mic dropped*

https://www.theguardian.com/business...richest-people buh-but.. the cap.. You said they dont let people get rich... I didnt say "chinas largest companies" did I?? Learn to fucking read. I said every business. Any legal business will be state owned. Thats the whole "totalitarianism" part of communism. Its not communism if its not totalitarianism. Use the proper word, if you're going to use it. You just admitted that its not communism. Go pick up your little mic.

https://www.forbes.com/china-billionaires/list/ China owns the part of the companies, or at the very least, entrenches their state actors into the companies. Therefore, they decided who thrives and who doesn't. Thus deciding who is rich and who is not. I am not sure what you think you proved, but I will pick up my mic and carry on.

This post makes me sad. To think that we have people who think this poor journalist was jailed for reporting on a fake story in Wuhan – is absurd! China has a long history of incarcerating people who report on things they do not want them to, i.e., their government. Just google "China locks up Hong Kong journalist," and I am sure you will find two or three stories as of recent. They do this to stop other journalists from speaking out on stories that they want to keep hush, hush.
