Yep, TNG is still top quality late 80s/90s American scifi followed by Deep Space Nine. Voyager only if you really get into the series. I rate the original crew Star Trek movies over TNG's. The franchise fell off by the 2000s outside of PC games, was not a fan of 'Enterprise' aside from T'Pols (played by Jolene Blalock) nice titties.

WARNING
The reboot films of the 2000s = hard pass
Picard series = hard pass
Star Trek Discovery = hardest pass
Star Trek: Below Decks = hard pass
*In general, stay away from anything after the year 2000.

Klingon Academy is one of my favorite trek games. Getting that to work in Win10 was a pita, and even then I have to launch it (and force kill it) 20+ times before it'll run stable.

I actually like Lower Decks out of all the new stuff they've been putting out. It's the closest to the TNG 'verse in my opinion.

Orville is fantastic. Their take on "for the world is hollow and I have touched the sky" was brilliant. I'm anxiously awaiting season 3 to drop.

https://www.dustyabell.com/ even released an Orville version of their Trek posters. I've got all 3 in my home office.

CalArts has become notorious as a way to describe the somewhat simplistic animation style that has been popping up in the 2010s crop of cartoons..

..Also referred to as thin-line animation, it has been derided as unoriginal and childish.

Imagine using the term ‘childish’ to critique the artstyle of a cartoon.
